#5 Three Members of Bachelor Nation to Leave in 2020
I have tried to ignore every single story about these contestants, but you all refuse to let them go. Please leave these lames in 2020. Thanks, Management.
Yosef
This picture actually made me throw up a little, not gonna lie.
Garrett P
Not to be hyperbolic, but he’s the antithesis to my existence, so thank you, next.
Garrett Y
Becca left him in 2020, and so should we. However, him meeting 50 Cent is perhaps one of the weirdest things to come out of 2020.
#4 Which Hannah Won 2020?
3. Hannah Brown
When I started the year, Hannah Brown would have been at the top of my personal Bachelor Nation Hannah list, but my girl has had a crazy 2020! From sparking rumors with the quarantine crew to apologizing for one of the biggest scandals in Bachelor Nation this year, Hannah has been openly imperfect as she tries to navigate her life post Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars. Her n-word scandal was a tough pill to swallow. As one of her fans, it really didn’t sit well with me that she could say it so carelessly, inebriated or not. To me, it signaled that she said it all the time. Her silence and subsequent commitment to education also kind of fell flat, too, but she did more than many in Bachelor Nation to use her platform especially as the national conversation about race in America finally shifted. I expected more, but ultimately I am a Hannah Brown fan. I think she’s trying, so at least there’s that. She’s still the most followed Hannah in Bachelor Nation, and I am still very much invested in what she has in store for 2021. I was really moved by her Christmas message, and I hope she finds lasting joy in the coming year.
2. Hannah Godwin
Not gonna lie, I pay the least attention to Hannah G. I think she’s probably pleasant and lovely, but she’s just not on my Bachelor Nation radar to watch. Nevertheless, I’d say Hannah G had a good 2020 because she bought a HOUSE in San Diego with her fiance, Dylan, and she started a YouTube channel and lifestyle blog. Apparently, there’s a corner of Bach nation that appreciates and even seeks out her content. Good for her!
Hannah Ann Sluss
Without a doubt, Hannah Ann won 2020. She brought us some of the best moments of 2020! Champagne gate, her iconic breakup with Peter, the unsolved mystery of her appearance at the LaQuinta, and most importantly, Baking and Bubbly with Hannah Ann! I’ll admit, I was not a Hannah Ann fan when she first appeared on my screen, but I’m honestly a convert now! I used to hate watch her cooking videos, and now I enjoy them?! Who knew?! She had a brief gig as a podcast host, and while I’m not quite sure what happened there, I know Hannah Ann is going to bring us some noteworthy content in 2021!

I just want someone to keep that beautiful smile on his face.
Brendan Morais
I can see him doing some soul searching, finding a beautiful girl, and being one part of a cheesy, stunning couple.
Victoria Fuller
She will 100% get a redemption storyline and end up engaged at the end of the season.
I did not include Dr. Joe or Ivan on this list because I want them both on the short list for a lead role.
Most Likely to Start A Podcast or YouTube Channel
Wine Down with Demar:
He’s a Bachelor expert, and if his lives are any indication, a wonderful host!
Health Tips with Dr. Joe:
He’s using his Instagram for good, even though it’s disabled right now, but I’d love if he had a podcast debunking myths and providing important information to Bachelor Nation because we all desperately need it.
#2 Top 10 Bachelor Nation Moments of 2020!
I made a slideshow. Yes, I’m that bored. (and the videos won’t autoplay any other way).
#1 Strong Black Leads
Tayshia was an amazing Bachelorette, and I am so happy that she got a happy ending. However, there were many ways that her season was shortchanged. I am glad she took advantage of this opportunity, but I really wanted ABC to give her a sit down so we can see how happy and in love she is with Zac. Luckily, we have Instagram and podcast and television show appearances to keep up with the smitten couple.
I am so excited for Matt’s premiere! I really want ABC to have a R&B guest for one of his dates. I know Matt listens to rap and R&B, and I’ll be damned if we get a guest appearance by Chase Rice for my guy. I say throw it back to some 2000’s R&B and have Mario sing “Let me Love You” or have Teyana Taylor sing “Issues/Hold On”. Matt has posted quite a few videos singing this song, and I think it would be a lovely moment for him.
Finally, I just wanted to remind you that no one should question Matt or Tayshia’s level of Blackness based on the partner they choose for themselves. I’ll go into this in detail I’m sure over the next few weeks, but ultimately I supported Tayshia, and I plan to support Matt in whatever decision is right for his heart. Here’s to the next righteous endeavor!
